Shop Continuous Glucose Monitoring

If you’re looking for an easier way to monitor your glucose levels (blood sugar) without constant finger pricks, Sanford Health Equip can help. A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) helps you manage your diabetes by making it easier to track your blood sugar. It provides real-time readings and alerts to your smartphone or receiver.

A standard CGM system uses a disposable sensor applied to the skin, a transmitter and a display or smartphone app.

No, a valid prescription from your healthcare provider is required before you can purchase a CGM.

What if I lose, break or run out of my sensor before it’s time to reorder?

How accurate are CGM readings?

CGM readings happen in one- to five-minute intervals and are highly accurate. If you suspect there is a reading or sensor error, double-check with a finger-prick test before adjusting insulin. We encourage having backup test strips.

How do I prevent my CGM from falling off?

Depending on the CGM, the manufacturer may supply an over patch and encourage it for the best CGM experience, but this varies by brand. To learn more about what’s best for your CGM, please contact our team.
